The movie is shot in the same style as Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity (all the rage right now). Through this found footage you meet a group of guys that appear to get money for running up behind girls and pulling up their shirts (hence the opening boob comment). Apparently they earned a job where they are suppose to break into this house and steal a VHS tape, which VHS tape they aren't sure of. They begin exploring the house and find a dead body there. Ignoring the body, they continue to search for tapes taking turns watching the ones they find.
The first one is a hidden camera movie. A group of guys put a camera in a pair of glasses before going out on the town. The guy wearing the glasses is probably the most innocent of the bunch of horn dogs just looking for ass. At the bar the innocent one meets a girl with HUGE eyes. Like seriously HUGE. I knew she was creepy just from her eyes. She also couldn't talk louder than a whisper saying repeatedly, "I like you." They take her and another girl back to their hotel room and right when the guys think they might be getting lucky with bug eyed girl, things get a little weird. She turns into some creature and starts eating/drinking the guys.
The pop in another tape in the VCR and its a young couple on a road trip. They stop at some sketchy hotel where a stranger knocks on the door. After being creeped out the couple locks the door and goes to bed. While they are sleeping the camera turns on and records them both. The stranger filming then steals some money but nothing else. The next day they go out and about again before returning to the hotel that night. This time while the stranger films then, they stab the guy in the neck and cut his throat.
When the tape stops the guy watching them has disappeared. When the other two come around one decides to keep checking the tape while the other searches for the missing friends. He continues watching the videos. The next one takes place in the woods. A group of friends go up for the weekend but the camera they bring along starts glitching at weird times. Actually it starts glitchy at places where people were killed before. Turns out one of the girls was there when all the other teens died in the woods and she brought her friends as bait to try and catch the killer who just appears as glitches on the tape as well. Unfortunately her plan doesn't quite work out and everyone gets killed again.
When he stops watching the tape and switches to the next the dead body is gone behind him. But no worries onto the next story. This time the tape is a series of skypes (how it ended up on VHS beats me. How any of these ended up on VHS is mind boggling really). A girl talks about how she thinks her apartment is haunted. She takes her computer into the other room and in fact does catch something in her apartment. The next morning she is complaining about her arm and went so far as to start digging at it with a knife. The next night she decides to try and talk to the ghost (?) but it attacks her. Her boyfriend comes over and takes out some weird fetus from her back and gives it to the creature/ghost.
Once again the tape stops and no one is there. The remaining guy comes back and notices that all his friends and the dead body is gone. He starts looking around the house when he is attacked by the dead body/reanimated corpse.
The last tape plays and is four friends going to a Halloween party. They find the house but when they go inside no one is there. They start exploring and figure it is a haunted house because lights keep flickering, furniture moves when no one is in the room, and the walls seem to be reaching for them. They hear voices coming from the attic and when they go up they see a young girl tied up with a bunch of men chanting around her. At first they think its an act but when they realize that it isn't they try and save the girl. The house all of a sudden seems alive and the people are being tossed around the place. They manage to make it out of the house and into their car with the girl, but the car stalls on the train tracks. When a train starts approaching all the doors lock and the girl somehow ends up outside of the car.
The movie was done by six (I believe it's six) different directors and different writers all combined into one story line and although the story line is a little loose, the individual stories were all interesting and anyone who enjoys horror movies will probably like this movie. I know there were some I really liked and others I just kept thinking "what the Hell??". One of them really made me nervous. The one where the couple is sleeping and someone is filming there. There is nothing more unnerving than when we are at are most vulnerable moments. Plus ever since seeing a show when I was younger about a family that got their heads chopped off in their sleep always made me a nervous sleeper. Maybe that's why I need my ears covered while sleeping.
