Hector (Karra Elejalde) and his wife Clara (Candela Fernadez) just moved into a country home. While they are still renovating and getting everything set up, Hector thinks he sees something in the woods. When Clara leaves to go to the store to get food for dinner, he further investigates and sees a young woman taking off her top. Curious he gets up off his ass to figure out what exactly is going on. When he finds her in the woods, she seems to be sleeping naked. He creeps towards her to make sure she isn't dead and when he gets close enough to see her breathing he gets stabbed in the arm by a pair of scissors.
He takes off into the woods, away from his attacker. But when he looks through his binoculars to make she he isn't followed, he sees a man with pink bandages covering his face looking back at him. He takes off running once again and finds himself at a science lab. He breaks into it and finds a walkie talkie. He asks if anyone is on the other end and when he hears a voice he tells the voice that someone is trying to kill him. The voice on the other end asks if he is being chased by a man in pink bandages. It turns out the man followed him to the science lab. The voice tells him to head to the silo at the top of the hill because it is much safer there.
He gets to the silo just in time and the man there tells him to hide in the capsule in the middle of the room. Reluctantly he gets in and capsule shuts. When it reopens, it is daylight and the man seems shocked to see him. Dazed and confused, Hector finds out that he traveled back in time and its earlier that day. Like the rules of Back to the Future, Hector #2 has to make sure he doesn't run into Hector #1. But he gets impatient sitting around so he steals one of the cars and leaves the science lab. On his drive he sees the young woman from earlier now riding her bike. He slams on the breaks confused if this is really happening. But then gets rear ended and ends up crashing into a tree. His face is badly injured so he takes off his bandage from earlier and wraps it around his head. Immediately it turns pink. He realizes now that he was chasing himself. He goes along to stage the whole scene again to make sure he still gets to the time machine so his fate isn't altered drastically and he dies.
In doing so, he sees a different side to his story from earlier. And after chasing Hector #1 to the science lab he hears a female scream. It's coming from the directing of his house. He goes to his house to make sure everything is okay with the young girl from earlier. She obviously is deathly afraid of him and runs away from him. He chases after her all the way to the roof and after a little mishap the young girl falls off the roof and dies. When Hector #2 looks over the edge, he doesn't see the young girl, but his wife Clara. Now he is set to go back in time once again to fix this tragic mistake.
Like I said, I feel like I should watch again just to make sure everything is in order because time travelling can get a bit confusing. But I thought they did a really good job telling this simple story from all different point of views and time lines. It was easy to follow and you knew what was going on. I love a good time travel movie.
